Taka Solutions wins energy efficiency project with La Quinta by Wyndham Hotel, operated by Gromaxx Hotels Management LLC.
This six-year Shared savings Energy Performance Contract (SSEPC) includes a detailed energy audit of the facility, design, procurement, installation of the energy efficiency measures (EEMs), and energy management over the contract period. EEMs include Chiller Replacement, Fresh Air Handling Unit (FAHU) Refurbishments, Water-sourced Heat Pump Retrofits, a new Building Management System, Smart Thermostats, and more.
Taka forecasts to achieve 60% utility cost and energy savings from the EEMs implemented, while improving air conditioning, decreasing building operating costs, and most importantly, increasing guest comfort.

With an SSEPC with Taka Solutions, the project is fully financed by Taka, facility improvements are provided at zero upfront investment, and other benefits include improved asset value, decreased building operating costs, zero performance and credit risk for customers, positive cash flow and a decrease in carbon footprint.
