Taka Solutions participated in The Hotel Show Dubai | 24 – 26 May 2022 with premium partners Daikin Middle East and Africa, held at Dubai World Trade Centre. In conjunction with Daikin, a Taka energy efficiency project in a hotel facility was presented as a case study, focusing on the Domestic Hot Water Production (DHWP) heat pump retrofit, supplied by Daikin. Lorenzo Cipriani, presented how this more efficient and effective system can be used to replace electrical resistance heaters, which generally result in higher utility bills.
The new DHWP system resulted in a 47% cost savings as compared to the previous system. Along with 7 other Energy Efficiency Measures (EEMs), Taka achieved 2.51 million kWh in actual savings, translating to a 15% of cost savings generated over a 12 month period.
