Taka Solutions was appointed by Abu Dhabi Water & Electricity Authority to review and identify the scope of energy consumption of the ADWEA HQ, Training Center and TRANSCO HQ Building as part of an ongoing initiative to minimize the facility’s energy consumption and complement the existing clean energy solutions.
With a total of 26,567 m2 area under management until August 2026, Taka Solutions has implemented over 10 energy efficiency measures, and have achieved almost 40% savings in two of the three facilities, with the third achieving 14% savings.
This project has won two awards, the Retrofit Project of the Year awarded by CIBSE Building Performance Awards 2021 and the Energy Project of the Year awarded by the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE), Regional Awards 2020 – Middle East Region.
