Taka Solutions participated in the Emirates Environmental Group Can Collection Drive that took place on Saturday, November 6, 2021.
As a result of a joint effort of more than 270 entities in the UAE, EEG collected a total of 5,695 kg of Aluminum cans. This collection helped mitigate 85.5 MT CO2 Emission, save 138.2 m³ of landfill space and save 1,296 million BTU of Energy.
Since the Can Collection Campaign’s inception in 1997, EEG has collected 351,215 kg of Aluminum cans which mitigated 5,272 MT CO2E, saved 8,526 m³ of landfill space, and conserved 79,931 million BTU of energy.
